It steals your focus
Then takes you whole
Leaving you destitute from the very start

It draws you in
Then sucks you dry
Holding you captive until the very end

No simple pleasure
No little gain
But a dreadful disease, a rooted seed unbounded

A lie from the beginning
A desire to the end
It's a fools net, the fool's snare that does him in
