Poem of a beloved, lost cat

You were like a child to me,

You were my very own.



  And now you're gone,

Leaving me all alone.



  I wasn't there for you;

When you needed me most.



  I feel so bad now;

I feel it's all my fault.

  That you got hurt;

I can just imagine your pain.



  And as you layed there dying;

I can imagine you calling my name



  Hoping for me to come;

But I never even knew



  And now that you have gone away;

You've taken apart of me with you...
