HELLO GOODBYE

Hello and goodbye,
are two words we use a lot
from welcoming a newborn baby,
to saying a final goodbye.
We say... hello, how are you?
and normally hear, I'm fine.
We might be shocked to
actually hear, a diff erent reply.
Do we really stop to think,
how we really feel?
Or are we to afraid to say
afraid no one will hear.
It may be a day of crying,
deep within our heart.
Or we might be so happy,
we can't hold back our smile.
Whatever it may be, we might want to stop & think.
How do I really feel today,
and can I really say?
