A poem about love, with a surprising twist. |
| Consuming Desire by Lisa McCourt Hollar My heart sings Hearing his voice His words of love A whispered orchestra Played for me alone. Dancing, souls intertwined My heart races Beating loudly Our lips draw near Anticipating. Darkness engulfs me Consuming my soul Enticing me to the edge Maddness and desire Calling me home. Falling Into his eyes His kiss stills time Our heart beating as one His will becoming my own And suddenly I am his. Burning with desire His kiss upon my neck My blood rushing He drinks from open wound. My life sustaining him. |
