Open Thine Eyes

A short poem I wrote

Is it just me
that can only see.
what is happening to our country?


America wake up and realize
what is happening to our country.
We used to be home of the brave and land of the free
now we are on the road to being a third world country.


We need to stand up and fight
before we loose our right.
To do anything at all.


Are we still home of the brave and land of the free
or has that been taken from thee.
