Poetry on loneliness, based on a set novel in my English class.

Loneliness

Loneliness hangs about, an unwanted guest,
It shrouds my eyes,
Causing my vision to blur.
Loneliness is a hungry lion that eats away at me.
Loneliness has no mercy.
It breaks me down with no regret
While reflecting itself in my eyes.
Loneliness.
Loneliness is what I despise most.
Yet loneliness is my only friend.
