Time is gold

For the Pond Poetry Contest

I imprinted my footsteps,
on the sands of time;
which was long corroded
away by the rolling hours of Time.

I wish I could rewind
the rusty clock of Time
and relive my life again
with full of blithe moments.

But we all know that
Time and tide wait for none.
So I will have to learn from
the past and not cling to
it anymore for it will
but agonize my mind.

I will have to look forward
and think positively the
chances that future has
up its sleeve for me.
