So there was this bunny in south Texas
in a black and yellow abandoned taxi.
Lulu her name, although many would yell
Lou! wherein she would answer to that call.
“You home?” said raccoon neighbor Mary.
She answered, “Yes,” then gave Mary carrots.
“Time is short,” quipped Mary: “Look what I caught.”
Right then and there, Mary made string appear.
“I thought you might like this purple string I
netted on the lake’s eastern shore at dawn.”
“Give,” said Lou, “give to me that silly string!”
Beaming, Mary handled it with aplomb.
“Used string,” mused Lou in apathy’s milieu.
Negating apathy, Mary began:
“Now Lou, your weaving talent has been seen.”
“You can make magic with this, I dare say!”
Heaving a sigh, Lou then began to laugh.
“All right,” said Lou, “that is my area.”
“Tell you what--I’ll use it to make a hat.”
