Judging a dog beauty contest.

Once in a little sleepy town of Doghouse, all the
dogs were dressed up, they were dressed up very fine.
It was a beauty contest there in Doghouse, and I
was asked to be a judge of gussied-up canine.
Poodle scarf, lots of arf, Great Dane with a veil;
I judged a Doghouse doggie beauty contest,
all the costumes had a flap so they could wag a tail.

There was a Labrador costumed so classy, there was
a Pekingese parading in a fine design.
One of the Collies looked a lot like Lassie, and she
sported wrappings that appeared to be A-line.
Collie coats, cast our votes for the best costume;
There were a lot of dogs to judge in Doghouse,
All the rears were open-ended so they had some room.

We had to judge the talent competition, and there
were some entrants who put smiles on each face.
A Beagle did a very good rendition, of that
Beagle Snoopy as a fearless flying ace.
Flying mutt, but the butt still has liberty;
so in a doggie talent competition,
all the costumes insured the ends were flying free.

Once in a little sleepy town of Doghouse, we as
the judges judged a lot of dogs who were dressed up.
But in the end the one who won in Doghouse, was a
cute as fuzzy button Cocker Spaniel pup.
For the pup just got up, and with great avail,
he turned around and right before our faces,
was the cutest smiley face a-wagging with his tail.
