Words hurt more then you know

No-one Dares To Know

In the night rain, she lingers.

Staring at the glistening space.

Tears falling with the pain.

Standing still, numb and drained.



Emptiness overwhelms,

Rapidly the heart pounds,

In vain she screams.

Lost in a sea of darkness.



A deep void in her soul,

There’s a need she can’t explain.

As if anyone dared to care.

Words spewed forth from shameful lips,

Playing as an echo in her mind.



Reckless words wounded her soul.

Ripping through her pale, damp skin,

A heart no longer bleeds with in.

A young life cold and still,

No-one dares to know.
