Alone

Loneliness, if carved out right can lead to being alone with your own stillness.

Feeling so alone, I just cry
feeling so alone, I just want to die
I seek around for some grand plan
but all I find is an empty grandstand

Feeling so alone, I can't take the pain
the hole through my heart cuts like a vein
splintered from the past, broken from now
shattered like a window and I don't know how

Feeling so alone in this huge space
trying to carve out just a small little place
for my heart to continue on as it will
to be alone and to be still.
