winter's journey |
| Spring Silvery flakes from angered skies Shelter shades of Autumn’s cloak. Naked trees pray upturned branches Cruelly ignored by wintry gales. Here I sleep, like crystalline flakes. Shivering soul and heart asleep. Dormant, less awakening finds Crimson pain as Rejection’s tool. As icy dreams, gathering sweeps In following – mind’s eye is numb. Till Virgin Spring journeys again Warming the earth and urging growth. |
