Sensationalism

Sad words breed
Even sadder thoughts.
News about death and terrorism,
Sorrow and loss.
Altruism is seldom spoke of.
Truly, isn't there another way?
Inequity within the media
Only causes pain and heartache.
Not only for the families, but for
All of the human race.
Let there be some good news for a change:
Intentional good deeds reported, that
Supercede the bad.
Maybe then, the world could be, less medicated and sedated.
