Guardian Angel

This is a poem about meeting my Guardian Angel

Guardian Angel

A peripheral glimpse
Of an aura indescribable,
Knowing I’m not alone
A presence indefinable.

A stillness so serene
An absence of sound,
At that preordained second
I knew I had been found.

A calmness and peace
Upon me descends,
A presence of holiness
I fully comprehend.

Falling upon my knees
I reach heavenward,
Offering my humble prayer
For this intercession.

Possessing no doubts
I feel a caress so slight,
From an angel’s wing
Resplendent with God’s might.

A blessing from God
A knowledge so transcendental,
Forever safe in loving arms
I have met my guardian angel.
