poetry lesson, pantoum poem |
| Blinded Eyes Lisa Ann Noe I reach my hands up to the skies, For I see the world through blinded eyes I imagine the world is staring at nothing but me. But that’s only because I can not see it. I see the world through blinded eyes. I’m living in a world of deceitful lies, But that’s only because I can not see it. I’m searching for something that will never be. I’m living a life that’s real, In a place where time stands still. I’m searching for something that will never be. I reach my hands up to the skies. Note: this poem is inspired by a girl in my 8th grade English class, years ago. |
