A quatern for the Pond Poetry Contest.
Pond Poetry Prompt May 2014 - Form: Quatern
Letters flip out of the pages.
Tossed by the winds twigs scatter here.
Wrinkles of the old book unfurls ,
An age primed by negligience.

From the white leaves of the life's book,
Letters flip out of the pages.
Old age now romps with complete win.
Youth, spring now totally deceased.

The once fountain named Life now springs.
From the calloused , dampened life's book.
Letters flip out of the pages.
Dried sprigs now gather, collect here.

In the battle of life youth dies.
For a loving rapport heart cries.
From the encumbered , old ages.
Letters flip out of the pages.
