Does life start once in thought or deed?
Conceived it does burst forth making claim
Setting on in motion events that lead
To wonders all impressive that gives flame.
It curves and twists along a route divine.
We trust our hearts and strive for more beyond.
Expect it all and play its part, that's fine.
Live and love for all that must be donned.
And as life shows out all its fine display
Time drives us forth into an age of old
We slow, reflect and bow, knowing we stay
Only a few steps out from bitter cold.
Soon death takes all and leaves us barely there
We fall to dusty ashes; one last flare.
