Dear Me,

I write to you disappointed
in the way that you acted last year
You ate far too much junk food and Mars bars
and you also drank far too much beer

You said you would give up the smoking
a promise that you did not keep
You could have had health and saved money
yet now those rewards you`ll not reap

You failed in your quest to exercise
for your body you showed no respect
So I hope you can see all the failures
that you now have the chance to correct

Then next time you make resolutions
don`t make them just pie in the sky
For when you make a promise you can`t keep
that just makes you no better than I

So here`s to a new beginning
a chance to put everything right
So come on you know you can do it
as long as you keep up the fight.
