A planet where Christmas is Celebrated all twelve months |
There is a place among the stars, past our sun and Milky Way Galaxy. The planet is known to only a few, besides the residents who live there, too. The planet's name is Holy Sphere, it lies in the galaxy of Christ's Cross. They celebrate the love and giving spirit of Christmas every single day. Each month is a new celebration, a way to share the joy of the true meaning of Christmas with each other. The energy they produce every day throughout the year, is the spirit of Christmas, Earthlings and others enjoy year after year, and sometimes a bit more. The first month of January, Holy Spherions call the month of returns. No, it's not a month of returning gifts that do not fit, or they don't care for. It's a month where they make sure to return the love, friendships, favors and more. February is of course the month of love: Everyone makes sure to show each other how much they're loved and appreciated. Sometimes, it's simply a hug with an "I appreciate you", to helping one another with all they need to do. March is the month of making and mending: It is spent making homemade items to give throughout the year. It's also the month when models are built, and neighbors help each other with any remodeling that needs to be done. April is the month of praise: It's celebrated by remembering the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ. It's a month spent contemplating their lives and praising the life of Jesus Christ. May is the month of ministry: Some citizens minister from home, while others travel across the sphere--but they all work on helping those in need, whatever the need may be. June is the month of Jubilation: A celebration of all that is good. A jubilation of God's love and mercy. July is the month of joining together: They tend to all of nature and animals. A month of celebrating growth and renewal. August is the month of Harvesting: Harvesting fruits and vegetables and the canning of food. All which will be shared with each other. September is the month of Preparation: Making sure everyone has what they need for the cold months ahead: Clothing, wood for fire, foods and herbs. October is the month of Observing: Taking time to enjoy God's gift of beauty. Time to observe all the blessings He so graciously gives. November is the month of Nutrition: Sharing meals together. Baking for family, neighbors, friends and sharing big meals where the point is to make sure strangers off the street, come and break bread with one another. December is the month of Deliverance: The delivery of our Lord, Jesus Christ. The deliverance from the curse of death. The deliverance of our sins forgiven, and forgiving others of their sins against us. Deliverance of our Lord God's mercy and grace, which is ours every single day, of every single month, of every single year--just for the asking. (547 Words) Today is July 25th. It is exactly five months to Christmas. So this got me to thinking. What if we have the 12 Months of Christmas instead of the 12 Days of Christmas? What would each month represent. You may present this in a short story, poem, or article form. |
