This Life's A Puzzle

Life is a puzzle that requires persistence. Written for a picture prompt (Rubik's Cube).

Puzzles perplex the mind
Twist and turn to line up the colours
Find the strategy that works
Stay focused and pursue it to the end.

Don’t give up
Believe it is okay to take breaks,
But never give up, never settle
Or think you have done enough.

Stay at it and one day it will click;
Everything will fall into place.
Things happen in their own time;
Find patience in the small things.

But in all things, continue to pursue
You will win this race.
This battle will be yours.
Take heart in knowing it will work out.
