This is my first try at an abecedarian poem. |
Daddy’s in Heaven By Lisa Noe At a time in my life that I need hope By the tears that have fallen from mine eye when he spoke Came a thought to my mind Dad’s gone and left us behind Every Mountain must move For He has something to prove God exists in Heaven Has no exaggeration In This world I feel that nothing is real but God is Join me in prayer Kindly lift my despair Loving life and sharing each moment with friends Makes each day a blessing and our love only deepens Never running away from the tremendous strife Only hoping that you will share in my life Praying each day will be lighter in load Quieting the turmoil that takes a hold Resting from heart aches So much my heart breaks Time stretching out further than I thought it would land Underneath Gods great heaven, he has a plan Very many moments I spent time with you Why did he call you why is our time through Xanorphica played with its bows and its strings You remind me of music you’d play in the spring Ziziths blow as I stand by your grave, I know you have been saved. |
