Poem about waking up rigid on a shelf |
| THERE NO MORE There no more Not since that light Awake And then asleep Awake again But rigid now On this shelf I keep Muscle Supple flesh no more A static Figurine No breath inhaled Heart's fire gone Ceramic Painted sheen How came to this? Did I fail Some life's Appointed task? Or was my work completed? I can only Ask Perhaps The answers simpler My next life's here Somehow Like cardboard Tin or plastic I been recycled now |
