Winner Writer's Cramp 11/21/14 What do you think "Code B" stands for?
Code B

Oh!
How I feel for nurses.
The sights, sounds and
smells, they all must endure.

Nurses truly are
the unsung heroes
with a calling
that is so pure.

There are many rewards though
for helping their fellow man.
Sometimes they are simply rewarded
with what they all must have seen.

Here is a tale of sightings
I’m sure they all have had.
Read on if you are curious
to hear the story of what I mean.

This was not a glorious vision
of angels around the bed.
Rather a scene of severe blowout,
the nurses quickly ran from the room.

Upon closer inspection
of this particularly disturbing event,
they found the patient was a plumber
in front of the mirror to groom.

“CODE B” Someone yelled loudly!
Once again another blowout occurred.
The Doctors started to wonder
how could this possibly be?

This time though, oddly enough,
the people did not run.
Instead they gathered round
waiting eagerly to see.

For in the hall was not the plumber,
she was a sexy green eyed lass,
with long flowing crimson hair
and a very attractive...

The back of the flimsy hospital gown blew open.
