My fine feathered friend

Feathers fanning from far away.

I do not know what to say.

Is it a turkey, a rooster, a peacock ,

It is so beautiful I am in shock.

I don’t want to make a meal of this bird,

I love to listen to it’s sounds I’ve heard.

Feathers so colorful, wide and so bright,

This bird is quite a delight.

I’ll make him my friend, a pal to me,

For he I want everyone to see.

Friends till the end that’s what I say,

So I wish you a happy Thanksgiving Day.
