The future is calling

 
On Becoming
 
Do not linger
in the past

hiding your
damp and
fearful eyes.

In the present
you are becoming.

In the future
you will once again
meet yourself.

Then
your brilliant eyes
will beam with joy
throughout
the endless hours

taking chances
beyond
what
they then will see.
