There's More to this Life Than Living

Busy days dictate
How we see our world.
Moving through our lives
Bustling about here and there.
Never stopping,
Never noticing,
Never smelling the roses,
Never caring enough.
We're all guilty
Of getting caught up,
Captured by the upbeat,
The fast-paced,
The tempo that is our lives.
We should stop more,
Notice the sun on our faces,
Smell the roses, care more,
If we do, we just might realize,
There's more to this life than living.
We just might realize
What a wonderful world it is.
