Writing a novel together ... I think.

Meghan Elizabeth Simmons runs from her home situation to [escape] an abusive [home situation]. Her mother, Cheryl, married [NAME] after being charmed by his good looks and numerous, expensive gifts. After several years of suffering at the cruel hands he had kept hidden for so long, Meghan runs at Cheryl’s urging.

She’s seriously injured in a bad storm that catches her [unawares] in the middle of the woods. Her rescuer—an unexpected [source] is quite surprised when he comes across her. But out of the goodness of his heart he takes her to his cabin and reluctantly cares for her.

Dylan Richmond never expected—nor does he want—to be responsible for anyone. Especially not a woman. A very pretty one to boot. But he’s not as unfeeling as many believe.

When the [injured] female regains consciousness a number of days after the storm, she’s [hesitant] to explain herself. At first, Dylan tries to insist, but he eventually backs off. He knows that if it was him, and he didn’t want to talk about it, he would want her to respect that.

The two embark on something of a quest to stop her stepfather—though he never formally adopted her—from continuing his reign of terror. In doing so, they uncover far more than was expected. They are lead into more danger than [foreseen], and it leads to a pain-filled secret in Dylan’s past. One that he never wanted to [explore] again.

Will the two of them ever break free of their pasts, so they can build a future [together]?
