"Child to teen" 

When does a child become a teen
It seems the question of the day
My son seemed to go the other way
It beats all I've ever seen
He started out thinking he was a teen
He certainly did want his say
There was never a time he failed to dismay
He was both his own king and queen
Somehow he had the order turned around
He thought he was the adult
He would have a tantrum on the ground
He knew how to insult
I never did figure it out
I still wonder what it is about?
