Poem for We Write For Kids Contest

SNOWFLAKES

Are the snowflakes
Just like us,
As they tumble down?

Are they frightened?
Do they cry?
When they hit the ground!

Do they have names
Like Kimberly,
Or like Evan Brown?

Do their families
Come along,
To keep them safe and sound?

Maybe we
Aren't meant to know,
Their secrets won't be found.

It's still fun
To play with them,
When they come to town!
