Hero Lost

a tiny poem

My hero
lost.
Demons
took him.
I walked drunk
a thousand roads.
Lost,
always lost.
Searching for an ending.
Unexpected.
The prison door...
open.
Of course.
The gatekeeper
was me
all along.
I will not
stay
in
this shadow.
I will see the
sunlight
again.
