A voice,
A tune,
And words I cannot
Hear or understand.
A cadence
That enchants.
Meanings hidden
Behind the melody
Beneath the words
A message written in the sounds.
I listen and I try
To translate.
For this message is not
Of logic or the brain.
This message comes,
Appearing not in words
But in my arm, my foot, my finger
Written fully in the molecules
Of what I am.
