How many changes can you find here? |
| Changes You could feel the change begin. The days of warm, humid air Was being replaced By the cool, crisp air of fall. Many of the squirrels were Quickly burying acorns Under soil that was decorated By bright gold and vivid red leaves. The sounds of geese honking Trumpeted from the sky. Across the yard was Anna, my grandmother. Her once beautiful brown hair was now A grand, bunned grey. Her hands were stiff and gnarly. She hummed as she collected The last vegetables from her garden. Tonight, we would sit by the fire, Drinking the best cocoa ever made. As we sat, we listened to how She left riches and comfort To come out west To marry The man she always loved. |
