"Heart shaped candy I've been eating you for years. I just love your quaint little sayings. It gets me warm and fuzzy inside when I read the word "I love you" because anybody who knows me knows I love you too. Around Valentines Day I make sure to stock up because there's usually a lot of people buying you. I want to make sure I have enough of my sweet, heart shaped candies to see me through the day every day. I guess maybe I'm addicted to you guys."

"You aren't addicted to us. You're addicted to the sugar in us. Come on dude! Get a life. At least get a clue! How would you like to spend your life knowing that you're ultimately going to get eaten? If we're lucky we are made and put in boxes where we sit crammed together so tightly there's no room to move. Then ultimately we're shipped off to a store where we sit on a shelf hoping nobody buys us before our expiration date. Then some cannibal like you comes along and grabs us up and takes us home with you. You may put us in a cabinet where our expiration date will come and you'll have sense enough to let us live out our lives. More than likely though you'll do what you did and remember that you have us and decide to eat us. Do you have any idea how painful it is to watch your loved ones be taken out of a box they never should have been in to begin with and then eaten by some over grown bully? If you eat me I hope I give you indigestion!

"I never really considered how you all might feel about it. I guess maybe you do have a valid point. It would be heartrending to watch your relatives being eaten alive.I have to give you credit. You have a legitimate complaint."

"So what are you going to do about it friend? Are you going to do the conscientious thing here and let us go?

"Do I look like a conscientious person? Of course I'm not going to let you go. Where would you go to anyway. You have no legs to walk. If it weren't for having all twenty-six letters of the alphabet between you, you wouldn't be able to form enough words to talk to me now. I'm amazed that you're even speaking to me a all. It must be a side effect of the new medication the doctor has me on."

"It's no side effect friend. We really are talking to you. We're tired of being eaten every day!"

"I guess you'll just have to get over it then. As a matter of fact...."

"Boy he was good! I was really hungry after talking to him!"
