read this after ten years or more, okay?
I've never really penned down a letter before and you must be knowing that for sure. So, please forgive me for this lack of experience and any mistakes in letting these words flow onto this blank page that is uncontrollably wooing me into crafting on it with my exemplary pen.

Dear Me from a couple of years later ( probably ten or fifteen years later, because I really wouldn't want you to stumble upon this too soon - I wouldn't have actually forgotten about writing this if you happen to read this real soon),

I hope you're doing good and on the way to reach that star that you had been longing to grab hold of since forever, I guess. That star is quite reachable, if you compare it with the billion dreams that have been enshrined within you, making you what you are and molding you into a better person, you see. I guess we all have to see dreams as something very essential, so much important for our very survival. I often keep writing about how these tiny tots of thoughts and aspirations need to be given wings so they can fly high, higher than ever and become almost ceaseless. Let's not forget to remind ourselves that we needn't be Icarus in our run towards our destinations, and not let these wings reach too high in a way that you forget where you are right now and keep wanting more, dissatisfaction pumping up as you accomplish each feat on your path. So, my point is, let your dreams grow wings, let them fly but just not too high, and definitely not get overpowered by the demon who is a child of over confidence and greed.

You're a strong brave woman who used to advocate for feminism but you've obviously grown out of the very torturous meaning of what that term is supposed to be. You've grown to understand a better meaning of all those terms that you had been so fervently standing up for. You know that it's more important to look at the barrier between the worthy and unworthy and not just keep shouting at the top of your voices about wanting equality. You know now that there's more need in realizing what exactly all this is, that you're fighting for. You know that there's much more than how these words are spelled out. There is meaning- a meaning you are expected to take into you, let your conscience enlighten itself with it.

Having experienced the very vulnerable strains of relationships, watching bonds break right in front of you, you have evolved into a better soul, and know how exactly you should be tackling problems. Your circumstances then, helped make you stronger. Your voice has grown and your head lifts up. You face the sky every time you feel you are worthy of accomplishing your dreams. Now there is absolutely no constraints around you that could let you down or keep you from the wild fantasies of exploration that would pop in now and then. I know how bad you felt when your ambiance had to change suddenly, especially when it was such a crucial point in your life, and I know how difficult it was for you to adjust. I know how thoughts tormented you and how emotionally stretched you were at that moment. But all the struggles have made you stronger. You don't fear now when you do anything. In fact, you've become adventurous for good. Your life now, with your mum and dad, has become this super-powered metallic bubble that no force can break through. And it is all because of your strengthened mind and your ability to withstand the worst of storms and hazards.

You've grown beyond your childhood to realize how important it is for you to forgive. But yes, do not ever forget. That is a valuable lesson you have etched into your conscience. Forgive but not forget. That makes you stay true to the kindness that has been built up within you as a morale, but makes sure that you don't easily move on and let the mistakes happen again.

There is so much that your eventful growing years have taught you and for that, you need to be thankful.

If you're still struggling to get to your star, stop for a while, and contemplate. Surround yourself with silence and let your soul be alone, undisturbed. Then, you will hear voices in your head, of your younger self, pumping with energy, looking forward to pouncing onto that dream that you've been yearning for.

Now, go put on your suit for making your dreams come true, champ.

Love,
A less mature idiosyncratic writer who might just happen to be the younger you.
