Providence Within A Poem

Alone, alone, alone,
providence within a poem,
a mountain of existence,
stars in perpetual silence,
spurned as the fool,
sun on my brow,
feel the earth move,
at rest beneath a frown,
bemused as the sparrow,
smiling on the sea of creation,
sear leaf in a forest of beings,
doing as I please,
a plea of my own,
alone, alone, alone,
