A retelling of Sleeping Beauty in poetic form
Aurora, Aurora
with hair so fair,
a beautiful baby girl
with a future ahead.

Her parents made a mistake
and didn't invite a fairy
who cursed Aurora to sleep forever,
if ever her finger was pricked.

Only true love's kiss
would break the spell,
and there the girl lay,
frozen in time,
until her prince came
for the kiss.
