Sun shining so bright it can blind
Making easy work of an open mind.

Clouds have gone away
Making it a happier day.

Tired of people acting in haste
As if there’s no time to waste.

I want to crawl into a hole
Weary of playing the survivor’s role.

Wish I could stop the daily grind
Giving me time to rest my mind.
