Give It 100 Woes

Staring at a blank page,
I feel so uninspired.
My mind can’t think,
the words won’t come.

Reading past poems
brings me no relief.
Looking at idea journals
fails to spark my muse.

The pristine white hurts my eyes,
as my brain struggles with thoughts.
Nothing makes sense in my mind,
it’s all a jumbled mess.

Why did I think it would be easy
when I agreed to take on a challenge.
Write a poem a day times one hundred days –
oh, why did I sign up for G100?
