A son of Hermes tries to steal the heart of a daughter of Thanatos.

the thief's heart




of all the things he
could steal, he figured
the most obvious
would be her heart.




he didn't count on
liking her smile, or
making her laugh.




he didn't count on
the way she got
silent when focused,
or how her eyes shone
when she was amused.




he didn't count on her
brothers laughing at
her everytime she went
to talk to him, or the
look they gave when
she grinned at him.




he was only trying to
steal her heart, but
it seems to me she's
stolen his instead.
