Contest Entry for the Writer's Cramp, June 25, 2018
Writer’s Cramp Contest that ends on June 25, 2018 at noon
My friend and I went to hang out at the mall on Tuesday, where we saw some department store workers changing the clothes on a mannequin. This process included dismembering the arms.
Today’s prompt is, what if mannequins were really humans?

A Mannequin’s Life

Look through the window, what do you see?
All of those people staring at me!
They walk through the streets, going their way
Their plastic faces are all on display.
They glance at my clothing, they smile and they nod
Then scurry and hurry, I think they’re so odd!
Here in my realm, content in my clique,
I’m always in fashion, always so chic.
Hairstyles and dresses they come and they go
But the latest in couture is right here, I know!
A mannequin’s life is perfect, you see,
I watch all the masses, but they Look at Me!
