| There lived a pretty girl who dreamt Lovely fancies, those did her tempt. To an unknown world dazzling, kempt; Landed she, emptiness undreamt. To escape, she made an attempt. Ludicrous whims met with contempt. Tears rolling, she did pre-empt Loads of wild notions she once dreamt. Prompt: Write a poem using couplets THE TWIST - Each line of your poem should start with the 2 same alternating letters. For example line 1 starts with an ‘A’, line 2 starts with a ‘B’, line 3 starts with an ‘A’, etc. You can chose any letters you like but you can only use those 2 letters. |
