Bananas, Grapefruit, and Limes

Fruit for days, but not to worry I have a cunning culinary plan.

Bananas, Grapefruit, and Limes,
out on a rampage of mischief and crimes.
but don't be alarmed folks, it'll soon be alright,
I'm making fruit salad tonight

Cherries, Apples, and Pears,
are stomping around on the stairs
but no need to worry, and heavens, don't cry!
I'll bake them all up in a pie.

Pineapples, mangoes, and plums
are running amok with their chums.
Fruit smoothies perhaps? I'd be willing to try,
but I filled up on salad and pie.
