It started as a nightmare, but became reality later
I have a question for you. How would you deal with a nightmare which came true? The reason I ask is because it happened to me a few nights ago. I wasn't sure if it was real at first, just an occurrence of dvu, but it became real enough after some time.

It all started when I went to bed three days ago at the normal time I always go. Nothing special on my mind but getting a good night's rest. I climbed beneath the sheets and pulled the blanket over my shoulders to ward off the chill. In no time I was a sleep.

A vision of lace curtains fluttering through an open kitchen window is the first thing I remembered from my nightmare. A warm breeze brushed my face as I sat at the kitchen table staring out that window. It was my kitchen, and I felt at ease. In an instance an overcast blotted out the sun and I sat back. Goosebumps raised. Something was coming through my window but I had no idea what it would be. I wanted to scram, but I couldn't take my eyes away. Suddenly a dark shape appeared in the window. I screamed but still couldn't get away. The figure lunged and me.

That's when I awakened.

Now this morning, I sat at my kitchen table in my cabin which is nestled in a pine-laden forest just north of Flagstaff. It's hunting season and I was ready. The kitchen window stood open, the lace curtains swayed up and down, and the morning sun remained brilliant. I'd briefly forgotten I was cooking breakfast. In an instance, a dark figure appeared in the window, it's big, black mouth agape. Then came a roar. In my window stood a hungry grizzly.
