A short poem about how I see America today |
Our lives, our kids, our country is on the line Some walk around singing like everything is fine The fighting, the racism, and the division alone Can drive one crazy in this circular dome We need to come together and talk things out No screaming, no yelling or even a pout Our learning of one another is a great way to start Instead of allowing one person to tear us apart This country had its problems but never like this It’s time for a change, some happiness, some bliss The road to recovery is at the tip of our fingers If you don’t get out and vote, the madness will linger Our differences can help us in so many ways Lets all get together and get rid of the craze Line count = 14 |
