Read the poem
You're the fire of the stars in my world, burning the dark in me away
You're the blue to my sky, preventing it from being grey

You're the exorcist of my demons, running them out of reasons for me to want myself dead
Turning me from a cynic to a poet once again
Throwing away the bullet for my head
Taking the knife in my head and placing yours in its stead
With you, I'm no longer wishing to join the dead

Death is no longer an escape from a never ending nightmare, but the end to the most incredible dream

You're the dawn to my sky,
The life and light of my world, making me feel warm and giving me a reason to love something above
Defeating my dark with your ethereal light
Igniting my will to fight
Always been in my corner
Cheering me on as a supporter
I only wish we could have been sooner
Like water for grass, we were made for each other, helping each other grow and be better
I've loved watching you grow, getting stronger
Not letting your fear control you any longer
Thinking of yourself even a bit better

Such a beautiful thing to know
We've helped each other to see
We've set each other free
Me of my endless sea
You of all the bad things that can be
With all these signs are pointing to you and I are meant to be
I offer you the key to my destiny

You're my goddess with many names,
Dawnbringer
Lifechanger
Starlighter
Hearthealer
Mindmender
Hopefinder
Soulkeeper

My lioness, princess, and queen
A most astounding person to be seen
A beauty unlike the world has never known...
That's a fact I'd set in stone
Putting all these other dames to shame
Rendering them no better than plain
Something I'm sure will drive them insane
You're more than worth all my pain

I look forward to every morning feeling like Christmas, opening my eyes like opening a present to see the greatest gift I ever could have asked for
But for now I'll settle for opening your morning message as my every day present, unique to you and luminescent to my dark world

Returning my thoughts to you feels like coming home...
