Snow day

What a snow day looks like to me

Everywhere that I look
All that I see is white
Like someone has taken a big white blanket
And thrown it over the entire earth
There is snow on everything
Schools are closed for the day
You can feel the excitement of all the children
They get a day off from school
Parents stay home to join them
After a few they go sledding
Zooming faster and faster down the hill
Smiling and giggling all the way
Then its back to the house they go
To have hot cocoa and cookies
Then its time for Christmas movies
And of course fresh snow cream
For these reasons and many more
I love a snow day
