We watched with mixed emotions,
Nervous, excited and afraid,
Yet, we've longed for it.
We looked forward to it.
The rise of a new dawn.
The birth of a new time.
A time for change.
A chance to make it,
To rectify the past mistakes and heal the scars of a time passed.
We watched.
Reassured that this time its going to be different.
