Fear to fail froze me,
But my feet stood with unbridled passion.
Refusing to give up,
Wanting to break through from the chains that bound them.
Oh, how I yearned to make it.
To be the hero,
The winner of my own race.
And I knew,
I knew I had to come out into the light.
