I am dark and heavy
weary and tired
I don't have the energy to make you smile
or get out of bed

I sit in the pit of your stomach
taking appetite and sleep
I am fueled by your lethargy;
motivated by your tears

You can feel me in every muscle
I seep into every bone
like watered down sand
you sink
