What is a "natural" love story?

A natural love story
might involve that
star which only shines
in the eyes of the one
that cannot see
but
the other.

Perhaps a light kiss
under the light of a spotlight
created by their feelings.

A light kiss
does not always include
light.

Perhaps the light kiss
was under darkness
in the light
created by their feelings.

Their emotions stand around the star
or was it love?

We are never sure of anything enough
to decide between the two.

As they stand around that star
only they can see
without spectacles used and bought
by only those two.

Their emotions stand to watch under the fogged
gloom
lit by a single pathway of pebbles
and unseen rebels.

Young love, you see
always includes that little
falling thing,
all things that rise
must fall to learn how to
rise again.

It is not the magical planet
that chooses or must fall.

It is the heart
that was elevated onto a statue,
heartbreaks create the splash.
